Larnaca District Archeological Museum
Situated at Parides Square this government museum exhibits an interesting collection of finds dating from the Neolithic to Roman times.

Inside the museum you will find displays sculptures and terracotta figures. You will also be able to see collections of pottery from nearby villages as well as variety of glass, bronze and clay artifacts.

Outside the museum you will find an abundance of statues.

The Pierides Foundation Museum
Set up by Dimitrios Pierides (1811-1895) The Pierides Foundation Museum is the oldest privately owned museum in Cyprus. It houses ancient, medieval, Byzantine and more recent objects belonging to Pierides family.

A display case of modern Greek and Cypriot artifacts can be seen in the courtyard.

Larnaka Fort-Local Mediaeval Museum
Built in 1625, it was used as a prison in the first years of British rule. It houses the District Mediaeval Museum. The fort is also used as the Larnaka Municipal Cultural Center during summer.

Larnaka Municipal Cultural Center
Five old Larnaka Customs warehouse, built in a colonial style, have been renovated and turned into Larnaka Municipal Cultural Center. The centre houses the Municipal Gallery and the only Paleontology Museum in Cyprus, where the ancient fossilized remains of pygmy elephants and hippopotami that once lived on the island can be seen.

The Center also has facilities for occasional exhibitions.

Municipal Museum of Natural History
Within Larnaka Municipal Gardens (Public Gardens) the Museum displays rare insects, birds and animals of Cyprus.
